From the year 1999/2000 on the partners worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Veltins Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH which was affilated to PricewaterhouseCoopers at that time. On the basis of the amended regulatory conditions according to Sarbanes/Oxley in 2003 the company's name was changed to Heussen Rechtanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. In 2004 in close co-operation and co-ordination with PricewaterhouseCoopers the spin-off from the association with the departments auditing and tax councelling was completed.
By means of the spin-off for the purpose of reestablishment in accordance with the law on the transformation of company the Mütze Korsch Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH was founded, whereas at the same time the offices in Düsseldorf and Cologne were established.
