Dr. Maximilian Koch is Düsseldorf Private Equity Lawyer of the Year
After having been elected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers list for Germany for the third time in a row, in 2012 Dr. Maximilian Koch has even been honored as Best Lawyers' 2012 Düsseldorf Private Equity Lawyer of the Year. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the "Lawyer of the Year," making this accolade particularly significant. Third MKRG Partner elected for Inclusion in the 2012 Best Lawyers List
Being the third MKRG partner to join, Thomas Kerkhoff has been elected for inclusion in the 2012 Best Lawyers list for Germany in the field of "Intellectual Property".
Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which numerous leading attorneys cast votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice." The 2012 Best Lawyers list for Germany will be published by the Germany business journal Handelsblatt in June.
After the inclusion of Dr Michael Mütze in Construction since 2009 and Dr Maximilian Koch in Private Equity since 2010, there are now even three MKRG partners from different practice areas included in the 2012 Best Lawyers list for Germany. RP Business Forum "Business Law Firms" 2012
The RP Business Forum "Business Law Firms" established by the well-respected regional newspaper Rheinische Post brought together 20 selected top business lawyers in Dusseldorf on 16th March 2012. The conference themed "Dusseldorf: centre of business law firms" was chaired by Mr José Macias and Mr Jürgen Grosche from Rheinische Post. Inter alia the current market conditions and challenges business lawyers face in Dusseldorf were discussed. MKRG's partner Dr. Maximilian Koch had been invited by Rheinische Post to participate this highly exclusive conference. The results of the discussion were published by Rheinische Post in a special supplement along with its 4th May 2012 issue.

Handelsblatt: Maximilian Koch ranked among Germany’s top Private Equity lawyers
In its 26th October 2011 German lawyers’ ranking the well-respected German business journal Handelsblatt counts Dr Maximilian Koch among the few German top lawyers in Private Equity. Dr Maximilian Koch is a member of MKRG’s practice group Corporate and Finance. In Private Equity transactions he advises in particular entrepreneurs and top managers.
