History

The Mütze Korsch Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH was set up in 2004. It is based in Düsseldorf with another office located in Cologne.

Most of our partners initially worked for the Mütze & Partner law firm or for the Düsseldorf office of Heuking Kühn Lüer Heussen Wojtek.

Since 1999/2000 the partners worked for the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Veltins Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH which was linked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Under the Sabanes/Oxley regulations the law firm was named into Heussen Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. In coordination with PwC the MKRG was detached from the PwC network i.e. its auditing and accounting sector.

On the basis of the Law Regulating the Transformation of Companies, combining the offices in Düsseldorf and Cologne the Mütze Korsch Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbh was founded.
