MKRG wins the ACQ Global Award 2009 in the category ”Small Law Firm of the Year – Western Europe”

The British M&A magazine ACQ conferred this award on MKRG in the course of the 4th ACQ Global Awards 2009. The ACQ magazine issued 18,000 voting forms to M&A professionals as industry peers resulting in a 12% plus response rate by the deadline 16th February 2009, i. e. 2,284 filled out forms returned.

ACQ: “We gave the categories to our in-house panel and your industry peers that have contributed to the magazine in past editions. They voted on those deals and subjects that the magazine has reported on and who they think stood out from the crowd in the last 12 months.”

In 2008, the ACQ magazine reported – along with the British magazine CorporateINTL – on the Secondary Management Buyout of the Maredo group (Steak Houses), which took place in March and April 2008. MKRG acted as the leading advisor on the Maredo top managers’ side in this transaction.
